We are so proud of these students! Thank You UCS for participating in this event! This great event was able to happen through the parternship between Auburn University Rural Health Initiative , Sumter County-Alabama Extension, and the Connecting Minority Communities Grant.

UWA's Connecting Minority Communities grant program— funded through the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunication & Information Administration—and Auburn University Rural Health Initiative and Alabama Extension, promotes healthcare access in rural under resourced Alabama Black Belt counties by conducting community health conversations, engaging community organizations, scheduling health and wellness events.
