Meet Deriana McCleon, one of our UWA Ambassadors!

Now in her second year as a UWA Ambassador, Deriana helps welcome prospective students and their families to campus and gives future Tigers a firsthand look at what life at UWA is all about!

As a junior following the Respiratory Therapy track, Deriana says the family-like environment at UWA helped make her transition to college feel easier. Her advice? Don’t be afraid to smile and wave at the people you pass around campus!

Labor Day Campus Closure

The University of West Alabama will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Campus will reopen Tuesday, September 8, and resume normal business hours.
