Faculty member, Dr. Lisa Raschiatore on clarinet and guest pianist, John Etsell will be performing on Monday, March 18th, 7:30pm in Kresge Hall.

Free admission - however, donations kindly accepted at the door.

They will be playing works by Debussy, Berg, Hailstork, Bond, Harberg, and D'Rivera.

Gioachino Rossini, the Italian composer famous for his 39 operas, set new standards for both comic and serious opera before retiring.

Born on February 29, 1792, with a Leap Day birthday, he unfortunately passed away on November 13, 1868, at the age of 76 after an unsuccessful operation to treat cancer. In 1868, he had celebrated his 19th birthday.

Rossini is best known for his work “The Barber of Seville”.
