Honored to Have Served as Your President

Dear Criminal Justice Club,

It has been an honor to serve as your President over the last three terms. I am proud to say that under my leadership, our club grew from just 10 members to more than 50. Even though not everyone can attend every meeting, we have built a strong and supportive CJ family that I am incredibly grateful for.
Thank you for an outstanding semester. I also want to recognize my Vice President, Olivia Berry, for her leadership and guidance. I truly could not have asked for a better partner in this role.
Last semester, we faced challenges, but we faced them together — and we overcame them together. I advocated for this club every step of the way, and seeing us come back stronger this semester means everything to me. I am honored to conclude my presidency with the Shop with a Cop event. It was a tremendous success, and seeing so many children leave with joy on their faces is something I will always carry with me.
I would like to extend a sincere thank you to my officers this semester:
Carter, thank you for serving as Treasurer.
Felix, thank you for your work as Secretary.
Dr. McSkimming and Dr. Bowman, thank you for your continued support as our advisors.
Olivia, thank you for being a dedicated and reliable Vice President.
Moving forward, Madison Yordy will serve as your next President, and Dominique Kohr will serve as your Vice President. I have full confidence that they will lead this club with passion and purpose.

For those who caught the es**rt yesterday, a special friend all the way from the North Pole hitched a ride with Santa and ended up cruising in with Squad 3! 🎄✨

The elf even made an unexpected trip onto Interstate 80—while Squad 3 was en route to our event, they were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment, and were later recalled.

What an epic adventure for the elf… talk about a day to remember! 🚒🧝‍♂️✨

❄️Back and Bigger Than Ever: Clinton County Celebrates it's 2nd annual Shop with a Cop Event 🎅

Clinton County recently celebrated its 2nd annual Shop with a Cop event, hosted by the Commonwealth University–Lock Haven Criminal Justice Club. A total of 50 families had the opportunity to shop alongside police officers and first responders at the Mill Hall Walmart, making this holiday season especially meaningful for local children and their families.

The Shop With a Cop es**rt will be moving today from Commonwealth University – Lock Haven, traveling through Lock Haven, Flemington, and into Mill Hall.

This will be a large, multi-agency convoy featuring emergency apparatus, buses, and patrol units es**rting our 50 children to Walmart for today’s event.

📍 Approximate Route:
CU Lock Haven → Lock Haven → Flemington → Mill Hall Walmart

⏰ Happening this morning — come out and watch! At approximately 10:40am the fleet will leave CU Lock Haven
Line the sidewalks, wave as we pass, and help make this a special moment for the kids participating today.

Please use caution while driving near the es**rt and expect brief delays at Walmart.

Join us on December 6th at 10:40 AM as we line the sidewalk outside Fairview Suites for the official Send Off of this year’s Shop with a Cop event!

Students, community members, faculty, and staff are invited to come out, cheer, and show your support as the children head out with a full fire and police es**rt. Let’s make this moment unforgettable and give them the send-off they deserve!
