USU College of Veterinary Medicine USU's College of Veterinary Medicine is Utah's home for future Doctors of Veterinary Medicine

USU's College of Veterinary Medicine participates in the Washington-Idaho-Montana-Utah Regional Program in Veterinary Medicine. In partnership with the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, USU offers a professional degree in veterinary medicine. Work is underway for the USU College of Veterinary Medicine to provide a 4-year, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program at US

U. Students admitted in 2025 are projected to be the first class that will complete all four years of the program in Utah. Currently, students accepted into our program complete 2 years of study at USU's main campus in Logan, Utah, and their final 2 years of study and clinical work at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Students will continue to be admitted to the "2+2" program until the USU College of Veterinary Medicine is fully operational.

In 2003, scientists at the University of Idaho accomplished the impossible – they cloned a mule. KTVB caught up with a member of the historic team two decades later.
