Black Health Professional Student Association, LLU It is founded and sponsored by the Office of Diversity.

The Black Health Professionals Student Association (BHPSA) of Loma Linda University is an organization designed to nurture and support your transition into your profession. The purposes of BHPSA are:

1) To enhance the spiritual growth of the Black students at Loma Linda University (LLU) and to help facilitate an atmosphere of professional excellence, social development and moral principles.

2) T

o assist in raising sensitivites on LLU campus relative to issues of diversity, equality, and fairness.

3) To sponsor programs for minority youth to encourage their entrance into the health professions.

4) To help raise the levels of Black student recruitment, admissions, and retention.

5) To disseminate information relative to minority health issues with the professional health care programs at LLU.

This Sabbath, February 15, BHPSA is hosting our Church Impact at the San Bernardino Community SDA Church beginning at 9:30AM for Sabbath School and 11:00AM for Divine Service. Potluck is provided following Divine Service with a very special meal. Following Potluck, there will be a Homeless Ministry Bible Study for those willing to participate. We hope to see you all there, come hungry and leave happy.

The Executive Board of the Black Alumni of Loma Linda University will be hosting a BALL Scholarship Banquet on Sunday, October 27th at 5:00pm in the Jesse/Slate/Peterson Ball Room of the Wong Kerlee Conference Center.
