Congratulations to London Council #41 on completing their annual inspection last night. We were visited by Companions from throughout the Arch, Past Most Illustrious Companion Rusty Eagle and our current Most Illustrious Companion Michael Terry. Thanks to all that attended and thanks to all the officers for their help. And congratulations to our newest Companion Chris Zukoski.

London Council #41 will be having their annual inspection on Friday, March 10th starting at 7:30pm. We will be conferring the Royal Master degree on a live candidate and could use some help with filling some non-speaking parts.
Any questions message Ill. Brother Ron Mullins. Thanks

With the lifting of pandemic restrictions, the Sir Knights of Willis Commandery #82 met this evening under the supervision of Sir Knight Eminent Past Commander Ron Mullins and conferred the Order of the Temple, dubbing and creating a new Knight Templar of his brother, John Mullins. Assisting in the ceremonies was their father, Sir Knight Lyndall Mullins. Pictured are these two generations of Knights Templar.

Good News Sir Knights!

The Grand Master of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar, USA has issued General Order #14. This General Order supersedes General Order #12, and lays the foundation for our return to meeting and working.

General Order #14 does not yet permit us to meet in person, but it presents a phased plan for re-opening, and it authorizes the various Grand Commanders to create re-opening guideline to implement the phased reopening.

While we must continue to meet virtually for the time being, Sir Knight, it is clear a plan is being devised to allow us to meet safety and get back to work.

You can read General Order #14 here:

And you can read the Protocols for reopening here:

Sir Knights, we need you!

The men of Willis Commandery will be helping to set up for the upcoming election this coming Monday, November 2nd, and we need volunteers!

Each year, the Sir Knights help show their dedication to civic engagement by assisting the Madison County Board of Elections with setting up the poling locations.

We will be meeting at London High School at 3:00 pm, then traveling to West Jefferson High School and the Club House at Lake Choctaw. The more hands, the quicker the work, and you will be helping not only Willis Commandery, but our democracy as well.

Please join us.

Companions-

We have received notice of a new Edict from our Grand High Priest regarding meetings and degree work.

Under this Edict, if Madison County is on a COVID level of 1 or 2 we can meeting and confer degrees within safety guidelines of social distancing and masks.

If Madison County is on a COVID level 3, then degree work is cancelled, although we are still able to conduct in-person business meetings.

If Madison County is on a COVID level 4, all in-person activity is cancelled.

Currently, Madison County is on a Level 3. This level is updated weekly, so we are hopeful that the level will be reduced in the coming weeks, and our Nov. 12th Mark Master degree will not be affected. However, contingency plans will be worked on in the event the spread worsens.

Please stay vigilant, stay aware, and stay safe Companions. We will keep you updated.
