Hi Everyone! Facebook will be on Campus on September 16th. The event will include a Tech Talk led by one of our CSULB Engineers at Facebook, and then will open up to a Q&A with their engineers and recruiting team. There will also be an informal mixer with refreshments for students to make connections with their team. Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful first week and are ready to have an exciting semester. We will be having our very first meeting on Thursday, September 17th at 2 pm in ECS 304. We will also be at Week of Welcome on September 2nd and 3rd and Engineering Welcome Day on September 10th. Today was such a great experience for everyone at Engineering Girls Day @ the Beach, especially for our ACM-W members! We got the opportunity to teach middle school girls how to make their own version of a flappy bird game. It was a blast!

This Friday, She++, a computer science event will be taking place at Pasadena City College. There will be guest speakers, food, and fun. Some of our girls will be attending as well. We hope you can come out and join us!

She++ is an event designed to expose and encourage women to pursue a STEM degree, our main focus being Computer Science, as well as highlighting female role models in Computer Science.
