The Department of Africana Studies, along with American Indian Studies, Asian and Asian American Studies and Chicanx and Latinx Studies had another successful Ethnic Studies Student Conference this weekend. In this initiative, we teach high school students, the historical, cultural, and contemporary experiences of these four racialized groups in the United States every Saturday morning throughout the semester. Shout-out to Dr. Nathan Goodly, Dr. Marcedes Butler, and Prof. Prince Gumbi and all of our students who woke up on Saturday mornings to take advantage of this opportunity. You ALL did amazing!!!
