Welcome to the Flash Fam Coach! ❤️⚡️

Emma will bring extensive field hockey knowledge to our staff from her playing experience with the NCAA DII National Champion Runner-Up, Newberry College. Emma was also the Defensive Player of the Week for the SAC (Southern Athletic Conference) & NFHCA. Our girls are lucky to have her as a role model & resource. 🔥

Ryan brings a ton of defensive skill to our backfield and has really grown her confidence this spring. We’re excited to watch her continue to grow and impact our team in so many ways!

We are excited to welcome our next player for 2026, Sarah Ley! Sarah is from Trafford, Pa and played for Penn Trafford High School. She will be a nursing major during her time at SFU!

Julia is a dynamite defender who transferred from our neighbor school IUP. Julia is currently studying abroad but we can’t wait to welcome her back to the states in a few short weeks. ⚡️

T is one of our utility players who can play anywhere on the field. T serves as a leader on and off the field and motivates and inspires the team with her work ethic. 🏑

Why SFU? “I chose SFU because it gave me the opportunity to play field hockey at a high level and get my masters in occupational therapy. It was also close to home and had a home like feeling.”
