🚙This year’s Go Baby Go project kicked off today! 🚙 💨
Under the guidance of faculty, OT and Saint Francis University PT students evaluated three local children to determine their mobility and developmental needs to operate a power wheels toy vehicle. Engineering students then assessed the vehicles for possible adaptations. They will begin making the necessary adjustments and adaptations to the vehicles.
This is a special interdisciplinary opportunity for our students to apply classroom learning in real time!

Dr. Hudkins got to catch the OT freshman right at the end of their first day in OT102! Everyone had a good, but busy, first day.

And we’re off!!
Fall I semester started with….cookies! Dr. Miller (and wife) treated his Musculoskeletal class with some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and then they jumped right into lecture and lab. Students learned and practiced some basic pain and edema management skills- interviewing about pain, retrograde massage, compression.
