SUMMER SPOTLIGHT: Ashton George

Ashton, a senior Computer Science student, recently finished his summer internship at Siemens. He served on the 2D/3D team under the Visualization Agile Release Train, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the viewer in Teamcenter. His main contributions centered on the client-side rendering capability, where he helped implement Area and Volume Select for large models, session support, and related performance improvements.

"Beyond technical work, I grew significantly in cross-team collaboration, frequently working across groups to troubleshoot and integrate APIs. I also had the opportunity to present my work in a live demo during a train-wide town hall, showcasing Area and Volume Select for large models in action."

Great work, Ashton!
