Introducing Brother of the Week, Matthew Bodo! Bodo is a third year transfer student who spends his time advocating for homeless students and working with UCLA administration to develop a UCLA student homeless shelter. “I like that Delta Sig has a commitment to being different, but still maintains authenticity. I’m able to be around like minded guys, yet also around guys with different perspectives to share. There are a ton of opportunities to be involved in volunteer work and service, which Delta Sig feels really committed to. Being inspired by that, I’m now the Service and Philanthropy Chair, where I can continue to increase the fraternity’s involvement in service. I’m really excited to put together philanthropy events during 2020 that can raise money to help make the difference that our volunteering may not be able to.” @ UCLA Delta Sigma Phi

Introducing Brother of the Week, Bailey Matthew Velasco! Bailey is in UCLA cheer, US Navy Reserves and works part-time as a nurse technician at community memorial hospital in Ventura county. He provides care to post-surgical patients and is a full time UCLA student.

We want to change the culture and the conversation around assault within Greek Life, and we know that making real change starts with every single one of our brothers taking these issues seriously. We are pleased to announce our new scholarship for incoming first-year students!

To help you with your transition to college, Delta Sig is proud to offer the Nile Scholarship to all incoming Bruins. The Nile Scholarship is a $500 merit-based scholarship intended to assist first-year students in their first quarter at UCLA. Funds can be applied towards anything the recipient chooses, including tuition, fees, housing, club dues, or any personal expenses.

All incoming Bruins are eligible for this scholarship, regardless of gender, background, or intent of rushing an IFC fraternity. We encourage everyone to take the time to apply!
