Death is the only wise advisor that we have. Whenever you feel, as you always do, that everything is going wrong and you're about to be annihilated, turn to your death and ask if that is so. Your death will tell you that you're wrong; that nothing really matters outside its touch. Your death will tell you, 'I haven't touched you yet.

The Kybalion, published in 1908, outlines seven Hermetic principles (or laws) believed to govern the universe and human experience:
Mentalism
Correspondence
Vibration
Polarity
Rhythm
Cause and Effect
Gender
These principles are considered fundamental to the ancient philosophy of Hermes Trismegistus, providing a framework for understanding reality, self-mastery, and spiritual growth.

The Summer solstice represents the transition from action to nourishment, which is exactly what the Sun gives us during the long nights of summer, both to our actual crops but also to the continual journey we travel from darkness to light. The Summer Solstice is a time to reflect on your personal growth and the meaning of the season of light and expansion. This is the moment of our year when there is the most light available to us. In terms of consciousness, it is when we are the most present to ourselves and who we know ourselves to be — the Sun represents the light of all life and consciousness. Seeds are planted in the Earth as well as the seeds of our souls. It’s a time of renewal and abundance, a time of love and expansion, as the summer sun unfolds the leaves on the trees, so can our hearts open to receive the light of source to illuminate that which is within each of us.

Ravens symbolise custodians of ancient wisdom, embody shapeshifting gods and goddesses, harbouring the secrets of creation and destruction. Raven symbolizes the void – the mystery of that which is not yet formed. Ravens are symbolic of the Black Hole in Space, which draws in all energy toward itself and releases it in new forms. Raven is a contrary spirit. on the negative side, Raven represents the profane, the devil, evil spirits, the trickster and thief, war and destruction, death and doom, the void.

Yet in many cultures Raven also represents deep magic, the mystery of the unknown, death and transformation, creation, healing, wisdom, protection, and prophecy. Raven is both the symbol of the sun, and the symbol of a moonless night. She is the birth giving light in the center of our galaxy, and the black hole in the center of the universe, to which we are all traveling to our eventual extinction.

The biggest symbol of Freemasonry is the Masonic Sword. These weapons were never used in war and were only ceremonial pieces. They’re still used to this very day in Freemasonry. The symbolism of swords is power, protection, intellect, and manifestation of skills that can be important in making life changes.

They can also represent and warn of any weapon that anyone may turn against another.
The tongue is called a sharp sword. Unloving words pierce like a sword. We reap whatever we sow. As we do to others so is it done to us. If we sow thoughts and words of destruction we will reap them. It is our jobs as Masons let cut down any negative impacts and transmute the Lead of society, into Gold.

“The Masters chair is and always will be my top position but Senior Deacon was also a great feeling to have. It also helps you prepare to complete the Masters work for the degrees. Nowadays though, I love my position as Past Master and wouldn’t want to go through the chairs again.”

The force of magic flows in two directions. One we may call “energetic magic”, and the other, “ritual magic”. Magic appears as a power that flows in and through nature, people, and things. Merely thinking of it can call it forth, or its influence may manifest unexpectedly. Magic may be manipulated, contaminated, or circumscribed by human acts and creations such as rituals, symbols, meditation, and concentrated intention. Magic bodies forth at the threshold of the sacred, at the boundary where the sacred and profane meet. As a lesser, changeable manifestation of sacred power, magic evokes mystery at the limit between the ordinary and the extraordinary. Magic participates in the reality that it alters. It is both symbol and substance, and therefore indefinable. Simply stated, it is both a verb and a noun – simultaneously an action and a concrete transformation.
