Statism, Its Recurring Cycles in Mexico and Romania is focused on governance and its pitfalls. This exhilarating book provides a political and economic analysis of the historical "recurring cycles" of Statism in Mexico and Romania. The cycle is starting with the Aztec Empire. The author focuses on these countries as prime examples of states that have "been experimenting with statism and state corporatism." Ms. Lazin identifies the cycles of Statism that begins with a period of nation building, in Mexico, and brings it up to present, with cycles of anti-statism, and state intervention, as well as complications with the military. General Genario Luna' work with narcotraficantes while being the head of the FBI, is being analyzed. That explains statist enterprise, and presidential involvement of the past 4 presidents in mixing the governmental, and governance culture with the narco-state leadership. Consequences of the terrorist state on the Mexican populace are overwhelming during the Manuel Lopez Obrador presidency. Thousands of people have dissapeared, and were buried in common graves, very much like in the Ukraine.In 2024 for the first time in Mexican history, an American schooled woman has been elected president, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.
In Romania, by contrast, the state owned everything (see GDP data), and so did the socialist Party, and only started privatizing the past 3 decades, after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Central planning went on for over 45 years in Romania.
The Binom and the deep state are relevant pitfalls of the Securitate-driven governance in Romania, at the apex of statism in 2021.
The amparo prevalent in the Mexican legal system, proves how one can get away with murder, if the amparo is being paid.

Your editor will be dedicated to you and your work and on hand to nurture your productivity and guide you through the writing challenges. Collaboratively, you will determine a strategy for the writing and editing to accommodate your schedule, process, and personal needs.
All work is done remotely over video conferencing, phone calls, and secure live chat. You may wish to have regular meetings, occasional check-ins, and/or writing prompts to help you generate the material and can adapt through what means and how often you connect with your editor as needed.
Billing:

Manuscript Evaluation/Developmental Feedback

Manuscript Evaluation/Developmental feedback is provided in three ways:
Sample Manuscript Evaluation (up to 40 pages max.) one installment of $450
Full Manuscript Evaluation- initial installment of $450 plus $7.75/page made in a second installment one week after initial purchase
Full Developmental Feedback- initial installment of $450 plus $9.50/page made in a second installment one week after initial purchase

Hourly Coaching & Editing

Coaching and editing is performed hourly at a rate of $110.00 per hour and recorded in 5-minute intervals. This transparent billing process enables you to keep track of how much time you're using and maintain your budget. (Example: a 10-minute video check-in with your coach will be billed at 10 minutes).

Coaching and Editing hourly billing is required in blocks of 5 hours. As an exception, new clients may begin with an Introductory Block of 3 hours or 1 hour to request a representative sample edit in order to receive an approximate project quote for that level of edit.

The Introductory Block (3 hours or 1 hour), Block 1 (5 hours) and Block 2 (5 hours) will be requested prior to work being performed; all subsequent blocks will be billed after work is performed.

No commitment is required. You may choose to stop work at any time and with no advance notice. Only those hours you have used will be billed; the outstanding balance (less payment processing fees) will be refunded to you.
