CSUN Deaf Studies Department The Deaf Studies Department is located in the Michael D. Eisner College of Education, near the North side of campus on Etiwanda between Plummer and Vincennes.

The department and faculty offices are in the Education building room 1107. The primary objectives of the Deaf Studies major program are:

1. To convey basic knowledge and understanding about the language and culture of Deaf people, including their history and social experiences; and

2. To prepare students for advanced degree programs and/or professional careers working with Deaf people.
