Stand and Deliver-- 1988.

Stand and Deliver represents an forgotten principle to never deter on difficulty, and escaping "tough guy" personalities. It transcends movies at that time showing the least represented groups of young students in AP exams/ classes, honors programs, "gifted" programs.

A movie for most to remember and for most to reflect and learn.
