🎃 Get Ready for a Night of Thrills & Chills at UCLA! 🎃
Bruins are you in a spooky mood? The UCLA Latino Alumni Association (ULAA) in collaboration with the UCLA Black Alumni Association (UBAA), UCLA Undocumented Alumni Association (UAA), UCLA Mixed Alumni Association (UMAA), UCLA Transfer Student Alumni Network (TSAN), UCLA Academic Advancement Program Alumni Network (AAPAN), American Indian Alumni of UCLA (AIA) is bringing you “Spooky Stories in the Dark” on Halloween weekend before you go out trick-or-treating!
The evenings prompt is: “The Moment Everything Changed – Describe an ordinary day that took a sudden, eerie turn.”
On Nov. 1st, 6-8:30 PM, the James W. Alumni Center will be transformed into a spine-tingling celebration of spooky storytelling for Halloween and Dia de Mu***os. We encourage you to come dressed rocking your costume before you go out or get a fresh and FREE Dia De Mu***os face painting, this is the ultimate pre-party before you hit the streets of Westwood!
👻 What to Expect:
Chilling tales told by students, alumni and community members from all cultures!
There will be professional photographers and a photo booth that will be printing out photos right on the spot so you can cherish these ghoulish memories forever!
A temporary Dia De Mu***os altar where you can honor loved ones, bring a photo or something that reminds you of them to honor their memory during the event and then take it home!
We encourage you to wear your costumes, enjoy free Dia de Mu***os face painting, and great community vibes—no dress code, but you know it’s Halloween weekend! UCLA Alumni and Student orgs/groups will also be tabling and mixing it up with the crowd as well!
