Today we successful held 1st convention of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association& 2016 Chinese Students graduation ceremony！Many faculty, professors, parents and students joined us, including LMU Senior vice president, Dean from many schools, OISS and many many others. We really appreciate your coming!🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳

On April 22nd, 2016, UCLA Anderson School of Management hosted a business conference for U.S.-China cross-border investment and collaboration. One of the main issues that was raised at the conference was regarding mass entrepreneurship and innovation which are key to global and domestic economic growth. Unfortunately, this means we spend most of our time doing more of what’s already been done. We are using an old playbook that’s been copied too many times and accessed by our competitors as well. Good innovation is about solving peoples' problems more effectively than the current method. It’s not about doing more of the same. It’s not about trying to do more of the same but slightly better, it’s about doing something new and creative that leaves the concept of competition behind. Thanks for sharing your expertise. We are so proud to announce that the Chinese Students and Scholars Association has officially been accepted and registered as a new student organization here at LMU!

CSSA-LMU is the first Chinese students association on campus that will be dedicated to serving and helping all Chinese students at LMU. We will be holding all kinds of events and activities for the purpose of enriching students’ daily lives, spreading Chinese culture, and encouraging Chinese and other cultures to have more cross-cultural interaction. All activities will be cooperated and organized by six separate departments of CSSA-LMU—Department of Media and Communication, Department of Academic and Career Development, Department of Public Relations, Department of Internal Affairs, Department of External Affairs, and Department of Finance.

我们有家了！ 2016年3月，通过首届执行委员会的不断努力，和指导老师王嗣俊教授的帮助，我们终于通过了学校的几轮审批，批准成立了CSSA-LMU（即洛约拉马利蒙特大学中国学生学者联合会）。

CSSA_LMU的服务方向包括以下四点：
1）面向学生：我们将对中国学生的选课和就业发展提供指导。包含举办活动，增进中国学生群体的感情交流。
2）面向老师：我们会邀请学校的老师分享经验，对学生未来发展走向和组织的发展壮大提出宝贵的指导。
3）面向LMU其他组织：我们将与校内其他学生组织和部门展开积极的交流与合作，为中国留学生提供跨文化体验，使其更快地融入新的生活环境。
4）面向校外：我们将与其他学校的中国学生会和企业组织开展联谊及职业发展等活动，为LMU的中国学生提供更广阔的交友及职业发展平台。

欢迎所有中国学生加入这个组织，关注组织的成长并积极参与活动。让我们一起为建设一个健康，高效，友爱的留学生组织而努力。
