WHY ALPHA CHI WEDNESDAY❣️

A very special edition from our Vice President of COB, Mimi! Mimi is a sophomore studying Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance and a minor in Real Estate Development. Outside of Alpha Chi, she is a spring admit ambassador, a volunteer for 826LA, and a co-Chief Executive Officer of the Marshall club, Smart Women Securities.

“Joining AXO through COB was a decision that surprised most people I knew! I had my heart set on doing formal, but the second I walked through the red door of the AXO house, I knew I was home. I instantly felt so inspired by the real, strong women I met. I joined our sisterhood looking to find maybe a few bridesmaids and I ended up finding 100. My love for them and our chapter grows every single day!

I love COB because it gives both sides the opportunity to truly get to know each other. As VP of COB, I always want the COB experience to make PNMs feel like valued members of our sisterhood over anything else. If you’re interested in joining a group of women who are champions of change on and off campus, I’m happy to be a resource!”

WHY ALPHA CHI WEDNESDAY❣️

This very special edition is for our incredible outgoing president, Leah! Leah is a senior studying Cinema and Media Studies with a minor in Entertainment Industry. Outside of Alpha Chi, she is the executive house manager for trojan event services, overseeing all of the live performance venues on campus as well as 100+ staff that work for them. She also just wrapped up an internship over the past six months for Blindlight LLC which is a video game production company specializing in voice over. She worked in the production office mainly emailing agents for talent availability checks, booking recording sessions, formatting scripts, etc. And, she has an externship lined up with the Gersh Agency!

“Wrapping up my presidency for AXO is such a bittersweet feeling. I am so grateful for everything that these real strong women have taught me and how they have all changed my life forever, especially over the past year. When I think back to my time at USC before I was in Alpha Chi, I can honestly say that this house has allowed me to blossom into who I truly am and has provided a space for me to become myself to the fullest potential. The life long friendships I’ve made are priceless, and I can’t wait for years in the future when I am still connecting with my sisters like no time has passed at all. I choose Alpha Chi everyday because it has become more than just a home to me, it really is a family!”
