Loyola Marymount University's School of Education has secured a $2.7 million federal grant in collaboration with Los Angeles Unified School District and the Sobrato Family Foundation. This is the largest grant in the School of Education's history!!

The LMU School of Education is pleased to partner with Teach Plus to offer Core Collaborative (C2) professional development courses this Fall. The Teach Plus C2 Initiative is a FREE teacher-led professional learning series where teachers collaboratively learn from each other about the effective implementation of their state standards. Groups of teachers, led by a C2 Teacher Leader, gather over multiple sessions to improve their knowledge of the implementation of the standards, instructional strategies, and practices in order to promote student learning and achievement.

Saturday, Oct. 8 | 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at LMU
Wednesday, Oct. 19 | 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Marina Del Rey Middle School
Wednesday, Oct. 26 | 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Marina Del Rey Middle School
Saturday, Nov. 5 | 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at LMU
