Due to circumstances beyond our control, UBAA hasn't hosted a UCLA Transfer Day event in over 3 years. The drought is over! We partnered with and their Transfer Coordinator, Brooklynn Ming, on the Transfer Day dinner and alumni panel. It was an amazing evening and thank you to our panelists for sharing their experiences as former transfer students!

Sonya Brooks — UC Regent, shaping policy and possibility for the entire University of California system. First Black women to serve in this position.
Mayleeah Frazier — Chairperson of the Afrikan Student Union, holding the legacy and leading the movement.
Naomi Hammond — President of both the Graduate Students Association and the Black Graduate Students Association, advocating at every level. First person to serve as President for the Undergraduate and Graduate Students Associations
Three women. Three rooms that don’t always look like them. Three leaders who walked in anyway — and took over.
