Our goal is to give you insight into our design process and to create a dialogue in which we can learn more about those design and architectural issues that are important to you and vice versa. We believe that context, culture, program, and a client’s unique relationship to a location inform every project’s design process. Once full understanding is in place, we are capable of leading any project

through all layers of development, from concept through completion. With this comprehensive hands-on approach, projects move through each phase without interruption and reinterpretation allowing us to complete projects that have clear design logic. Our goal is to create buildings and spaces that, when woven back into their environment, enhance the daily experiences of its inhabitants and of those around it. With over 20 years of design experience, a wide range of completed works, and a roster of talented people and collaborators, we are able to tailor a team to projects of any scale and complexity. We have strong local and overseas production networks in place and are capable of producing globally tested documentation, making it possible for RCDF to execute projects at a competitive pace. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia, Rogerio continued his studies and matriculated from UCLA's Graduate School of Architecture. He has since worked with and been influenced by Philippe Stark, Julie Eizenberg, and Arthur Erickson. Along his twenty-year career he has gained considerable experience developing cultural, civic, commercial, residential, and hospitality projects. Past honors for Rogerio include an award from the Los Angeles Downtown Business Bureau for “Best Interior Design” for TRAXX Restaurant and an Honor Award for work completed on Los Angeles Union Station by the American Institute of Landscape Architects. Since 2008, he has regularly served as a critic at Cal Poly Pomona's Department of Architecture reviewing both undergraduate and graduate level projects and he will be leading an advanced design studio course at the UCLA Graduate School of Interior Architecture during Fall Quarter, 2012. In addition, Rogerio was recently elected to the position of Associate Director to the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles Chapter 2012 Board of Directors.
