In honor of Cambodian Genocide Remembrance Day, UKS will be compiling art that showcase the history of those who went through the Khmer Rouge and/or significant moments of their immigration/citizenship journey from Cambodia to another country. "Art" may be interpreted how you see fit - it can be in the form of (but not limited to) paintings, jewelry, physical artifacts, journals, poems, videos, audios, photographs, etc.

We will contact you through email and/or text to collect your artifact. These items will be showcased through an art gallery that will be made available to the UCLA community on Monday, May 16th, 2022 from 6-8pm at Ackerman Union Room 2408.

This is open to ALL persons who have been impacted by the Cambodian Genocide and would like to share their experiences, so please share this with anyone you may know! Submissions are NOT limited to Cambodians!! You also DO NOT have to be a UCLA Student to submit, alumni are welcome! You may remain anonymous if you wish to.

UCLA VSU is proud to announce that the 38th Annual High School Conference (HSC) will be taking place on November 12th-14th, 2021 via Zoom for the first two days and held in-person for our last day!
HSC is a free 3-day event with educational workshops, Q&A panels, and an opportunity to meet current UCLA students. Though our target is to serve the Vietnamese community, we welcome anyone and everyone of all communities. This year, our aim is to gather 200 high school students and parents all across California to empower youth to strive towards higher education and learn about the various paths to achieving it — all while having fun!
