RCLAers & their friends gave back to the community this past Saturday, July 20th with the Heal the Bay organizations monthly Nothin' But Sand beach clean-up which also celebrated Nelson Mandela International Day. After our hard work, we rewarded ourselves with lunch, margaritas & laughs at Marix Tex Mex Santa Monica. A great time was had by all - make sure to join us for future events & activities - Fiat Lux!

Beach Day – Sunday, June 30 – 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Beach

Bring your family and friends for a laid-back day in the sun (it’s kinda like a day at Cocoa Beach – only nicer). Bring your towels, beach chairs and sunscreen and be ready for a day of fun games and activities like Frisbee or beach paddle ball. Up for a little friendly competition? Head to the volleyball court for a game of Tars vs. Foxes! Want to show off your mad creative skills? Build us a replica of the Rollins Chapel in the sand!

Snacks will be provided and a café is located nearby where meals, beverages and cocktails may be purchased. Look for the Rollins beach canopy near the entrance to the Annenberg Community Beach House.

An email invite will soon follow with a link for you to RSVP by June 27 and post to our FB events page.

Reservations are available, but not required, for the pool, parking, courts, fields and canopies on pool weekends May 25-27, June 1-2, and June 8-9, and daily beginning June 15. Reserve no more than 3 days in advance, beginning at 7 am, for up to 6 pool passes, 1 parking space, and 1 court or field;...
