Jackson Freed and his wife Erica moved to Louisville, KY after being called to plant a young adult and college ministry in partnership with Awaken. Awaken’s mission is to see young adults and college students transformed, connected to the church body, and sent into the world to advance God's kingdom.

Jackson and Erica both attended Franklin College in Indiana. They met through joining leadership with Franklin College Intervarsity where Jackson served as Large Group Speaker and Erica served as President and leader of Pi Beta Phi’s Bible Study.

Their hearts to see others come to know Christ and grow in their relationship with God is what brought them together. Jackson and Erica were married on October 24th, 2020. Their heart cry is to help others find freedom in Christ and guide young adults as they navigate their relationship with Jesus.

They are eager to see what the Lord does as they pray for revival in the city of Louisville and build a team of young believers to be sent out into the world.
