Set up The Howard Steamboat Museum for craft fair. I am in museum promoting items made from the 1st Robert E. Lee steamboat. Stop by in Jeffersonville and check out all the other vendors and buy an item I made and help the museum. 12-4 today!

Come tomorrow (Sunday 12/7) to The Howard Steamboat Museum and purchase one of these Christmas ornaments or one of the many other creations made from wood that was part of the original Robert E. Lee steamboat. The boat was built in the 1830’s. The museum is also having and Christmas craft show. I will be in the museum. Come check out the many vendors and learn about our history with steamboats in this area. 12-4pm come and buy and say hello!

Upon starting this business and retirement, I never thought I would be dismantling wood from a 1869 riverboat. Thanks to Keith Kaiser WDRB and The Howard Steamboat Museum I am doing just that. I am working with the museum to create pens, keychains and Christmas ornaments for the Robert E. Lee steamboat. The boat was built in New Albany, Indiana. Wood this old is not in the best of shape and much is unusable. So check with the museum or myself if interested in getting a collectible from this historic old boat. It is an honor to be creating this one of a kind collectibles. I will be making these as long as the wood is available.

Say hello to my newest little buddy…Hunter Cole Edwards. Born Feb. 18. Weighing in at 6 lb 12 oz and 20 inches long. Nathan and Lorren are doing great. Hunter is fantastic and yes I am a very proud grandpa. It’s another and great change in our lives.

Apparently, someone has discovered another technique to hurt and insult people for no reason. Here's a heads up to everyone. There's a new breach on Facebook. It includes a nasty comment from you. It's usually pretty dirty and looks like you wrote it. You won't see it, but your buddies will. This leads to many misunderstandings. So, to all of my contacts, if you receive anything surprising, improper, or indecent, it is not from me. Consider posting this on your wall.

The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus Christ. Two turtle doves are the Old and New Testaments. Three French hens stand for faith, hope, and love. The four calling birds are the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament. The six geese a-laying stand for the six days of creation. Seven swans a-swimming represent the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy. The eight maids a-milking are the eight Beatitudes. Nine ladies dancing are the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. The ten lords a-leaping are the Ten Commandments. The eleven pipers piping stand for the eleven faithful disciples. The twelve drummers drumming symbolize the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed..... NOW YOU KNOW ..COPY AND PASTE

After spending the last 3 days without electricity(for the second time this year), I want to give a public THANK YOU to United Electric Company. Those guys busted their ass for 2 days getting our electricity back on at 11:30ish last night. They went beyond the call working where they did. Thank you for spending time away from your family to make our lives normal again. In closing if you need any electric work done I highly recommend United. They will be my first call from now on. The entire neighborhood of Thornwood Rd. I am sure agrees with me. UNITED, you guys are the best!!

All set up for Jeffersontown Arts Fair. Come out and see me and many other artists and vendors at the Jtown Farmers Market. It's a bit cool but it's nice way to wake up. Will be here till 2pm. Come spend some money.
