University of Louisville Logistics and Distribution Institute LoDI is a university-wide, multi-disciplinary research institute dedicated to finding solutions to new challenging problems in the field.

LoDI is a major research center at the University of Louisville (UofL) with a specific aim to develop new models, technologies and decision support systems that will help the private and public sectors cope with the dramatic changes taking place in the logistics and distribution industry. There are several exciting changes taking place in the world of logistics and distribution that make this an o

pportune time to invest heavily into research in this area. LoDI focuses on the development of advanced models and algorithms to design, operate and manage the systems efficiently and effectively in light of the new realities faced by next generation logistical and distribution systems.
