Hi Everyone! Cog Mem is open for research, we have been working to create a safe environment. We wanted to share our COVID-19 protocols with you all.
At the Lab:
- Six feet distance is required; all surfaces will be cleaned before and after a participant leaves.
- Everyone present will be required to wear masks – scan buddies will wear fresh disposable gloves when close contact with the participant is required.
- Each participant is only allowed to bring one parent/guardian due to occupancy limits. Additionally only two researchers will be present at a time due to occupancy limits.
- All research staff, participants and accompanying parent/guardian are required to complete COVID-19 screening prior to entry on campus.
- All research staff, participants and accompanying parent/guardian is required to undergo temperate screenings the day of experiment.
In the MRI facility:
- All surfaces will be cleaned with sanitizing cleaners.
- Each participant is only allowed to bring one parent/guardian due to occupancy limits.
- Parent/guardian is required to wait in the waiting room in the MRI facility due to occupancy limits. However, it is preferred if they wait outside the facility.
- All research staff, participants and accompanying parent/guardian is required to complete COVID-19 screening prior to entry on campus.
- All research staff, participants and accompanying parent/guardian is required to undergo temperate screenings the day of experiment.
- All research staff, participants and accompanying parent/guardian are required to wear single-use surgical masks.
- Research staff will be required to also wear face shield as well as gloves.
