We took part in Detachment 295 Dining Out to celebrate the end of a wonderful semester. Dining Out is a formal ceremony rooted in tradition, camaraderie, and unit pride.

From sharing a meal together to recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of our cadets, the evening was a great reminder of the importance of morale and cohesion within our wing. Highlights included seeing the creative shields made by our cadets, celebrating multiple cadet awards, and welcoming our new Wing Commander, C/Rotelli.

Experiences like these strengthen the bonds within our detachment and reinforce our commitment to developing as future officers and leaders.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible, and congratulations to all cadets recognized during the evening.

🌟 WEEK 15 LLAB 🌟

This week, our cadets completed their final evaluation, marking an important milestone in their training. Cadets began with an Open Ranks Inspection (ORI), where their attention to detail was tested through the proper wear and maintenance of their uniform items.

Cadets then performed a Flight Drill Evaluation (FDE) to demonstrate their Drill & Ceremonies (D&C) abilities. These evaluations allowed cadets to put their training into action while showing discipline, confidence, and attention to detail.

To finish the evaluation, cadets completed a warrior knowledge exam, testing their understanding of key information they have learned throughout the semester.

As One Towards Gold!

🌟 WEEK 13 LLAB 🌟

This week, our cadets had the privilege of learning from distinguished visitor Retired Major Nathan Tingle, founder of Special Operations Reality Evolutions (SORE). Major Tingle prepared and led a Group Leadership Project (GLP), where he introduced cadets to the SMEAC method for planning. Using this framework, cadets worked through specific scenarios and developed plans, gaining valuable experience in leadership, communication, and mission preparation.

Cadets were also given time to continue developing their Drill & Ceremonies (D&C) skills. Basic Cadets (BC) focused on practicing for their upcoming final evaluations, helping build confidence and readiness as they approach this important milestone.

Basic Cadet Leaders (BCL) had the opportunity to campus march, putting their training into action while reinforcing discipline, teamwork, and attention to detail.

As Always,
As One Towards Gold!

Along the way, he has worked to grow his confidence, critical thinking, and leadership skills.

🌟 WEEK 12 LLAB 🌟

This week, our cadets participated in a Group Leadership Project (GLP) designed to demonstrate the role of a 1st Sergeant and how leaders can effectively utilize them within a team. Through this exercise, cadets also saw firsthand the importance of integrity and strong communication in accomplishing the mission and supporting each other.

Basic Cadets (BC) received instruction in change step and flanks, two essential components of Drill & Ceremonies (D&C) that will continue to strengthen their precision and confidence as they progress in training.

Basic Cadet Leaders (BCL) focused on squadron marching and had the opportunity to put their D&C skills into practice by marching around campus. This hands on experience helped reinforce teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.

As One Towards Gold!

🌟 WEEK 11 LLAB 🌟

This week, our cadets began by taking part in a contracting ceremony for those selected to attend Field Training this summer, marking an important milestone in their journey as future leaders.

They then faced a Group Leadership Project (GLP) that challenged them to rely on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving as they worked together to create a flight schedule and arrange the transportation of several items. This exercise pushed cadets to think critically, trust their peers, and execute under pressure.

To continue building essential skills, Basic Cadets (BC) received instruction on road guard procedures, while BCL cadets learned DFAC (Dining Facility) procedures. Each lesson reinforced the discipline, attention to detail, and readiness required of every cadet.

As Always,
As One Towards Gold!
