We will be hosting our last LASLA event of the semester this Wednesday on UofL's Main Campus at the SAC Marketplace. We will be there from 11am-12pm, so come by, grab some food, and chat for a bit!

This month Silent Dinner will be held at Saint Matthew's Mall from 5-8pm.🕰

This is the last Silent Dinner of the semester so be sure to show up and show out! 🎉

We love when you all fill up these events and want to hear about your amazing summer plans, but also how the end of the semester is feeling. Swing by to chat, relax, and get to know some of the people in your classes and the Louisville Deaf Community. 🤟

LASLA will be hosting Silent Coffee this Monday, from 9-10am at Einstein's Bagels in the Humanities Building! Come by for a great start to your day and get yourself a nice cup of coffee! ☕

Chat with signers in all different classes to expand your sign recall and maybe even learn some new signs. Chatting and communicating is the best way to practice!

What is… Deaf Jeopardy Champs?

This Monday we had so much fun seeing everyone who came out to test their Deaf Culture knowledge and gain a few bragging rights. We also played some ASL games to finish off the night. Thanks to everyone who came out!!

Sad you couldn’t make it? Come to Deaf Chat Coffee TONIGHT from 5-8 at the Starbucks in New Dutchmans Parkway to see us and hang out.

Hey Signing Cards! Are you ready for Deaf Coffee this month? 💫

It will be hosted in the new location, the Starbucks on New Dutchman's Parkway. To accommodate the new location's business hours, the event hours have been pushed up to 5:30-8:30pm, so be sure to be there on time and ready to sign! ☕

This is a great way to build real connections within the Deaf community and practice your signing skills, so be sure to be there!

Check out this years promo video for ASL 302’s Showcase! Be there, April 9th in Strickler Hall for a night full of fun and laughs. The showcase begins at 6:30 but doors open at 6, so be sure to get there early to mingle and chat.

Don’t know ASL? No problem! We want this event to be inclusive for everyone, so we will have ASL interpreters there for the show.

Show up and show out, it’s sure to be the bees knees! 🐝🎉

Are you old geezers ready for your favorite show? ASL 302, our storytelling class will be hosting an ASL Showcase this April, highlighting all the storytelling features they have been working on throughout the semester.

Come for individual stories, group skits, and partner stories, all preformed in ASL, incorporating many ASL Storytelling Techniques like Hand Shape Stories, Personal Narratives, Poetry, Visual Vernacular stories and more.

Don't know ASL? Don't worry! We will have interpreters there for the entire showcase! Be sure to show up and show out for our old folks, they wrote these stories and skits and have been practicing for weeks to show it to you!

Come join us this April 9th in Strickler Hall room 101 from 6-9pm. Doors open at 6, and the show will start at 6:30pm. Come beforehand to mingle and chat before the show. See you then!

We will be hosting silent lunch on U of L's campus this Wednesday from 11am-12pm in the SAC Marketplace. Come join us to practice your signing skills with friends, meet some new ones, and enjoy some good food! We hope to see you there! 🍽☘

Deaf Chat Coffee best coffee! You all filled the place again last night! Thank you to everyone who came out and had some fun, you all are what makes these events so special!
