It was a pleasure celebrating and thanking our departing Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department Chair, Dr. Christopher Hansen, for his leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our students, faculty, and staff.

Gathering together in the Lawrence Lin MakerSpace was the perfect setting to reflect on the innovation, collaboration, and community that have flourished under his leadership.

Thank you, Chris, for your service, your vision, and the many ways you’ve strengthened our department. Wishing you continued success, fulfillment, and exciting new opportunities in your next chapter. You will always have a place in the MIE family.

Fair winds and following seas. 💙⚙️🛠️
