The Department of Communication is proud to announce our Distinguished Alumi award winner for 2024 is Sarah Posey.

Sarah is a 2019 graduate and hit the ground running as soon as she crossed the stage.

Sarah shared a few thoughts about her time here at LCU along with what she’s been up to since her days on campus:

Since graduation I have been working full time as a realtor at Keller Williams realty. I absolutely love my career and can’t believe I have been here 5 years now. I started my internship with KW in January of 2019 and became a licensed realtor after graduation that May.
I’m so thankful for my memories at LCU and all the people I met there. It really is so fun to look back and see how many people I have gotten to help buy their first home that I was friends with in college.
In my free time I like being with my friends, taking trips big or small, and hosting parties and events!

Awards:
-Top 20% of realtors in Lubbock association of realtors since June of 2020
-spotlight realtor in Lubbock Real Producers magazine in March 2022
-served on agent leadership council in 2022 and now serving again in 2024
-led investment community group at Keller Williams realty
-annual red day service project involvement
-ended 2023 in the top 6% of agents in the Lubbock association

My favorite things at LCU were serving as student body secretary and student body president!!
Senate was the best!
I was also involved in CDs and enjoyed being the chaplain my sophomore year!
I was also a member of Alliance and loved my time spent as part of that organization.

Huge 🎉 Congratulations 🎉 on your accomplishments both while you were here and in your career. We are SO proud of you! 💙💙💙
