Congratulations to our May 2026 Banner Bearer for the Whitacre College of Engineering, Kirsten Kuper!

A senior in the Department of Chemical Engineering - Whitacre College of Engineering with a minor in bioengineering, Kirsten has made a lasting impact through her involvement in the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Raider Catholic, and TTU Bands and Community Ensembles.

“My favorite thing about Chemical Engineering is the small class sizes because I feel like I have gotten to know and become friends with everyone throughout my time here. There’s a great community within the department.”

Following graduation from Texas Tech University, Kirsten will begin her career as a contact engineer with ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge.

Congratulations, Kirsten, and Wreck ’Em! ❤️🖤
