The past few weeks, our brothers have been very busy in the Lubbock community.

Children’s Miracle Network had their annual broadcast fundraiser on KCBD. Brothers Max Turner (‘28) and Cade Mauldin (‘29) helped raise over $2 million dollars for the hospital.

Cast for Kids had their fall event for children with disabilities this past weekend. We had a lot of fun helping the kids on the boat and teaching them how to fish.

Rise against Hunger recently had their fall food drive. Our brothers helped box 60 thousand meals for children in Honduras.

We are still collecting donations for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention until October 24th. Every $10 donation enters you in a raffle for a new Turtlebox! You can donate today at the link in our bio.

We are collecting donations to support the Lubbock Walk this fall to help ***de!

The proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP), funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by su***de. The campaign runs until October 24th.

Tuesday night, we had the honor of hosting the Joe Ray Goodin Scholarship Banquet.

Coach Gerry Glasco (Texas Tech Softball) kicked off the evening, fresh off leading the team to back-to-back national runner-up finishes.

Rob Caudill, Executive Director of Phi Gamma Delta, flew in to present Dr. Matt Gregory with the James E. Caswell Award, honoring his substantial contributions to Greek life.

Finally, our brothers earned more than $130,000 in scholarships this semester. We also recognized 21 brothers with a 4.0 GPA.

A special thank-you goes to Coach Glasco for serving as our keynote speaker and to our incredible graduate brothers for attending and supporting the event.

This past week, our brothers had the honor of attending the 178th Ekklesia in Phoenix, Arizona.

Our chapter was recognized as a two-time Owen Cup winner and received the Jordan Bowl for our scholarship efforts. We also earned honorable mention for the Cheney Cup, the award that goes to the best chapter in the nation. Justin Biggs (’95) won the Coulter Cup for his distinguished service to our chapter.

Austin Shaw (’27) served as Master of Ceremonies for the Opening Ceremony. On Saturday, he was inducted into the Council of Areopagus and was installed as the first chairman of the Undergraduate Advisory Council and as a member of the Board of Conduct.

These awards reflect the hard work put in, and we are so proud of our chapter!
