“Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Reyes, and I’m a senior finance major at LCU. This semester, I’m spending time in Washington, D.C., where I’m working as the Development Intern for Public Knowledge.

Alongside my internship, I’m taking courses and participating in professional development opportunities through The Washington Center. Beyond the classroom and workplace, I’ve had the opportunity to meet new people, explore the city, find a church community, and grow in ways I never expected.

I’m so thankful for the LCU Honors College, the School of Business, The Washington Center, and everyone who has helped make this experience possible. I’m excited for all that’s still ahead!”

She has joined the pre-vet club and can't wait to get involved in as much as she can on campus. Jaymeson is really looking forward to building lifelong friendships over my four years here, as well as making incredible memories through the beauty of everyday life.
