FarmHouse International Fraternity was founded in 1905 and founded locally in 1978 at Texas Tech University. The name FarmHouse stands for attributes our members work to attain:
Faith, Ambition, Reverence, Morality, Honesty, Obedience, Unity, Service, Excellence
FarmHouse is a fraternity dedicated to the building of men since 1905. It's a college brotherhood in which a man can be: creative, shar
e responsibilities, make lasting friendships, express his inner self in an atmosphere of trust and understanding, learn the essence of brotherhood, and learn the caring of one man - and of a community of men - for the individual, the brother, for the community, and for the mutual welfare. Our motto is "Builder of Men" and we work as hard as we can to help our brothers build themselves into men. We are built on a four-fold development: physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social. The goal of a member should be not only to uphold the ideals and reputation he has inherited, but to improve and expand them, for to stand still, to maintain status quo is to take a step backwards.
