The Texas Tech Alumni Association is excited to present the Military and Veterans National Alumni Network (MVn). Texas Tech has a tradition as a military and veteran-friendly campus and has gained national recognition for providing a campus-wide support system for those who have served and their families. This alumni chapter will encourage an ongoing Red Raider connection for our military and vete

ran graduates as they go on to future success. The purpose of the MVN is to recognize our military and veteran alumni and connect them to Texas Tech in a meaningful way. Our alumni chapter will provide the following opportunities:

Enhance contact between the university and its military and veteran alumni
Assist with the recruitment, retention and graduation of military and veteran students
Recognize Texas Tech military and veteran contributions to our community and nation
Provide scholarships and support activities for current military and veteran students

For those that were unable to attend, attached are some pictures of last Friday's official groundbreaking on a tribute walk and Military Wall of Honor at Memorial Circle. What followed the event was a fireside chat between General Brown and President Schovanec, in Allen Theater.
