Our mission is to connect the K-12 community with access to higher education through programming and We offer programs for students from K-12th grade.

College Connect was established in 1984 to open the eyes of thousands of children to the endless adventures in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Our Story

College Connect is a department within the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Texas Tech University. We focus and offer unique opportunities for youth to participate in group visits and summer programs. Our goal is to promote and encourage higher education access to K-12th grade students, while incorporating the endless adventures in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM).

Our mission is to deliver distinctive outreach programs that promote excellence in education and diversity, while engaging students with university experiences.
