Angelina College is inviting local nonprofit organizations and community agencies to participate in Roadrunner Roundup — our New Student Orientation experience for incoming students! 🎉

This is a great opportunity to:
✔️ Share your mission and services
✔️ Connect with incoming college students
✔️ Recruit volunteers and future advocates
✔️ Build relationships within the East Texas community

Angelina College Fire Academy cadets continue building the skills, discipline, and confidence needed to serve their communities as future first responders. From live fire training and vehicle extrication to hose operations and rescue scenarios, these cadets are learning that success in the fire service depends on preparation, communication, and teamwork.

A special thank you to our Fire Academy instructors for sharing their knowledge, experience, and mentorship with the next generation of firefighters. Your dedication and real-world expertise help prepare these cadets for successful careers in emergency services.

Hands-on learning in action! 🔧❄️

Angelina College HVAC students recently helped build this new 3-ton multi-head mini split trainer that will now be used as an instructional learning tool in the lab. By helping assemble the system themselves, students gained valuable real-world experience with installation, components, and system operation while creating equipment future students can also learn from.

This project gives students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in a hands-on environment and continue building the skills needed for careers in the HVAC industry.

A special thank you to HVAC Lead Instructor Stephen Hammonds for thinking of innovative learning tools that provide students with meaningful, hands-on training experiences that prepare them for the workforce. 👏

Free TCOLE Training – Patrol Performance Package (16 hours)

Angelina College Law Enforcement Academy is offering TCOLE #2055: Patrol Performance Package, a hands-on training designed for patrol officers ready to strengthen rifle and pistol performance.

Dates: September 8–9, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day
Location: Jasper Police Association Range, Jasper, Texas

Cost:
Normally $600 — free for full-time Texas law enforcement officers thanks to the Jorge Pastore Foundation.

Course Highlights:
• Progressive Pistol Concepts (accuracy, recoil control, transitions)
• City Block Rifle (engaging targets up to 100 yards)
• Real-world barricade positions and steel targets
• Advanced techniques in vision and trigger control

Important:
This is an advanced course. Participants should already be proficient in weapon handling.
