Right now, courage may not look dramatic in your student’s life ... it may look like everyday choices that require strength and intention. It might be staying organized when things feel overwhelming, stepping out to meet new people, asking for help when needed, or learning how to balance independence with responsibility. Pursuing courage often shows up in the small, quiet moments that no one else sees but that shape everything ahead. Which area has required the most courage from your student so far this semester? As we move deeper into the semester, students may begin feeling the pressure of assignments, exams, and preparing for the end of the year. One thing we want parents to know — your student does not have to navigate academic challenges alone. Liberty's College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS) provides resources designed to help students build confidence, develop strong habits, and reach their academic goals. Some of the resources available include: Academic Success Center — provides support through tutoring, writing services, success studies, and academic workshops. Tutoring Services — offers individual and group tutoring opportunities to help students strengthen their understanding of course material. Writing Center — helps students strengthen their writing skills and receive feedback throughout the writing process. College Success Services — provides guidance and support to help students stay on track academically.
Sometimes the strongest step a student can take is recognizing when they need support and knowing where to find it.
