Sometimes our brain falls into the trap that hard things = can’t do. When we are in this trap, we might find ourselves trying to avoid the challenge before us, we might procrastinate getting started, and we might use a lot of self defeating language. Avoiding hard things means that we might miss out on something truly wonderful and it also means that we might miss out on the opportunity to learn new skills and grow. So how do we get out of this trap? One way is to tell your brain that you CAN do hard things. Even if it takes a while, even if you have to restart or ask for help. Remind your brain that you are capable, even when things are hard.
