The summer D online subterm is almost here! ☀️Before classes begin, there’s one important step left: Financial Check-In (FCI).

If you’re registered for the D subterm, complete FCI by Monday, June 22 to secure your classes. FCI is required for all students, even if no payment is due.

Planning to use financial aid for your summer classes? Make sure your FAFSA is finished first!

The 2025-2026 FAFSA is only available for about one more month and officially closes on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Before the deadline, head to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and:

✅ Log in with your FSA ID.
✅ Complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA.
✅ Use your 2023 federal income tax information while filling it out.
✅ Add Liberty University with school code 010392.
✅ Sign and submit your application.

Don’t risk losing the class schedule you worked hard to build. All returning residential students must complete Financial Check-In (FCI) for the fall 2026 semester by Monday, June 15.

FCI is the step to confirm your attendance, secure your classes, and keep your housing selection in place. Students who complete FCI after the deadline may also be charged a $150 late FCI fee.

If you plan to use Federal or Liberty aid for your summer classes, ensure you get it done before the deadline!

Get started by visiting https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and logging in with your FSA ID. Don’t forget to add Liberty University to your application (School Code: 010392).

Scholarships are a great way to make college more affordable, but finding the right ones can feel overwhelming. Thankfully, there are free tools that can help.

CareerOneStop’s Scholarship Finder, sponsored by the Department of Labor, lets students search thousands of scholarships, grants, and financial aid opportunities with filters for eligibility and other criteria.

Students can also use BigFuture’s Scholarship Search from College Board to find scholarship matches based on their background, plans, and interests. Fastweb is another free option with a large scholarship database.

Don’t forget to check our scholarship webpage, your high school counselor, local organizations, churches, and employers for additional opportunities.

The FAFSA determines your federal financial aid eligibility, and filling it out will help you plan your finances. If you’ll be taking classes this summer, fill out the 2025-26 FAFSA. If you’ll be taking classes starting in the fall, you’ll fill out the 2026-2027 FAFSA.
