Military students registered for the Fall 2026 C online subterm: your Financial Check-In (FCI) deadline is Monday, Sept. 14.

Before completing FCI, review your Student Checklist to make sure your military benefit documents have been submitted and check for any outstanding items that may affect your account.

Then complete FCI at https://fci.liberty.edu/ to confirm your enrollment for classes beginning Monday, Sept. 21.

Today is the final day to nominate a veteran for Liberty University’s 2026 George Rogers Champion of Freedom Award!

Since 2010, this award has honored a U.S. Armed Forces veteran who went above and beyond the call of duty, displayed extraordinary heroism during military service, and continues to serve as an outstanding ambassador in the community.

The 2026 recipient will be honored during halftime of the Liberty Flames football game on Saturday, Nov. 14, as part of Military Appreciation Month. Nominees must be able to travel to Liberty University to receive the award in person.

In observance of Labor Day, Liberty University’s Office of Military Affairs will be closed Monday, Sept. 7.

Eighty-one years ago today, World War II formally came to an end.

On Sept. 2, 1945, representatives of Japan signed the Instrument of Surrender aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, bringing the deadliest conflict in modern history to its official conclusion.

Today, we remember the millions who served, sacrificed, and gave their lives during World War II, and we honor the veterans and families whose courage helped secure freedom for generations to come.

May their service and sacrifice never be forgotten.

Military students using VA education benefits: don’t forget your monthly enrollment verification for August!

Students using the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty, Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve, or Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance should verify their enrollment each month so VA can continue processing benefit payments.

VA will ask you to confirm your credit or clock hours and the start and end dates of your enrollment for the month. Verification options include the verification webpage, text, email, and Ask VA.
