Northeastern Storm Conference

Northeastern Storm Conference The Northeastern Storm Conference has been held annually since 1976, and is attended by 250-400+ atmospheric science students, faculty and professionals.

One of the nation's largest, longest-running completely student-run conferences, the Northeastern Storm Conference is organized by the Northern Vermont University - Lyndon Student Chapter of the AMS&NWA. Attendees come primarily from meteorology and atmospheric sciences programs at over 20 colleges and universities in the Northeastern US, in addition to meteorologists from the National Weather Service, television, and the private sector.
