The Department of Physics at Western Illinois University is committed to the education of our students. We offer a Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, and Physics with Secondary Teacher's Certification and a Master's Degree in Physics. We also cooperate with several regional universities such as University of Illinois and University of Iowa by offering a Pre-Engineering Program. Eac

h year, the Department of Physics serves approximately 40 undergraduate majors, 35 graduate students, 40 Pre-Engineering students and over 750 students fulfilling general education requirements, or requirements for another major.
