As a proud Jefferson County native, Dr. Batts brings not only leadership and experience, but also a deep connection to the community and schools that helped shape him. May is Mental Health Month and June is Men's Health Month, It is the perfect time to remind the everyone in our lives—and ourselves—that taking care of your health is the ultimate sign of strength.
​From managing daily stress and mental wellness to scheduling those routine checkups, blood pressure screenings, and preventive care, staying proactive keeps us in the game for the long haul.
Going into June, ​Let's break the silence around men's physical and mental health. Check on your brothers, your fathers, your sons, and your friends. True strength starts with taking care of your body and mind.
