Be The First. On May 15, 1851, Alpha Delta Pi was founded at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Alpha Delta Pi is home to the first and finest, forever.

Alpha Delta Pi holds the distinction of being the world's first secret society for college women. On November 13, 1937, the Beta Sigma chapter of ΑΔΠ was installed as the first national sorority chartered at Mercer University, and is proud to celebrate the 75th anniversary of our chapter's founding in 2012. One of our founders, Helen Glenn, was also the first Panhellenic President. Mercer is locat

ed in Macon, Georgia, and we have a rich history of Alpha Delta Pi in our surroundings to enjoy. The qualifications for membership have remained unchanged through the years: scholarship, high principles of behavior, and true friendships.

Favorite ADPi memory:
My favorite ADPI memory was the snow day in 2025. We slid down the Five Star Hill on pool floats and baking sheets until midnight; it was the absolute best!!
Why ADPi?
I have formed so many genuine connections with these high achieving and intelligent women. ADPI is full of women who inspire me to be the best version of myself everyday. I am so blessed to be able to give back to the chapter that has given me my best friends turned sisters!

My favorite ADPi memories are any time I get to spend with my fam. Whether it’s lunch at the UC, a sisterhood event, or just painting a banner together at the house, they always make me laugh. I am so glad ADPi brought us all together!
Why ADPi?
I chose ADPi because of the genuine connections I saw during recruitment; the way everyone talked about their sisters’ strengths and accomplishments was so amazing. I knew I wanted to be somewhere I could make lifelong friends, thrive academically, and grow as a leader, and ADPi has been exactly that place for me.
