A great article from WUFT about the Fluxus in the Swamp show at Santa Fe gallery in Gainesville, FL.
Thank you to Maria Avlonitis for covering the show! This is part of a series of Fluxus Art shows and events that includes video and film screenings at the McEachern Art Center and the Plunkett Gallery on Mercer's campus here in Macon.

Fluxus art emerged in the 1960s, using objects to blur the boundaries between art and everyday life. At this gallery, visitors are encourages to interact with the pieces, and be inspired to make their own.

Congratulations to Mercer Art Major, Amanda Herrold for being a recipient of the Simmons Art Scholarship of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia: "Congratulations to local college students Anna Richards, a rising senior at Wesleyan College, and Amanda Herrold, a rising senior at Mercer University, for being named the 2022-2023 recipients of the William P. Simmons Art Scholarship. They will each receive a scholarship to continue their studies in art for the next academic year.
