Mercer International and Global Studies Department The International and Global Studies department offers a curriculum that gives students a broad survey of the most important global issues and concerns.

The International and Global Studies (IGS) department offers a rigorous curriculum that provides students with a broad survey of the most important dynamics of global issues and concerns. Courses are organized into four thematic tracks but with common experiences that foster the creation of learning and a collaborative community that applies an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving. The tr

acks are:

-Major and Minor in Environmental Studies (ENS)
-Major and Minor in Global Health Studies (GHS)
-Major and Minor In International Affairs (IAF)
-Minor in Social Entrepreneurship (SEP)
-Minor in Asian Studies (ASN)
-Minor in Anthropology

Congratulations to Christine Okaro on being selected as a 2022 Primary Care Accelerated Track scholar! The ACT program addresses Georgia’s critical shortage of primary care physicians by allowing students to complete their medical school coursework in an accelerated curriculum.
